Green Attitude: our eco-commitment

Attitude considers the environment as one of its major concerns and places it at the heart of its development strategy. The Group thus commits towards preserving our environment through its so-called Green Attitude program.
Because nowadays it is vital to act as a "responsible player" in the light of any corporate expansion strategy, Attitude sets it as a priority to act as a responsible player towards our planet.

Attitude has committed, since the 7th of June 2010, to make its environmental approach real within its different hotels, which it thereby considers as true citizens of Mauritius themselves.

To prove successful, this project relies on the contribution of each team member of Attitude to the protection and safeguard of our environment on a daily basis. The Group thus wishes to transmit such commitment to its clients, partners and co-citizens. Its environmental chart was signed in 2010 by both Coin de Mire Attitude and Marina NFHC. Simple yet concrete actions have hence already been carried out in each of these two hotels, with the live encouragement of what the Group calls its “Environment Ambassadors". The other hotels of Attitude will soon follow this initiative.

In the context of its CSR program (Corporate Social Responsibility), Attitude has likewise chosen to bring by its personal involvement to some local environmental projects, in the Northern region, as follows.

• In partnership with Mission Verte NGO, a waste collection spot for the recycling of paper and plastics was set up in the Pavillons village (in the vicinity of Cap Malheureux) in July 2010.

• In collaboration with Reef Conservation NGO, the following took place:


• an environmental awareness campaign was held between June and October 2010, targeting kids, teen agers and adults of the North Coast communities


• in November 2010, Attitude inaugurated Nauticaz, an educational and interactive centre related to the richness of the local sea fauna and flora. Located in the new block of Marina NFHC, Nauticaz is open to all the hotel clients of the Group, as well as inhabitants and pupils of the North region and Attitude staff members (whom the Group calls its 'Family Members').
